We'll need the following information from you:

Proof of ownership of any devices you're claiming for. We’re as flexible as we can be about this. So this can be a till receipt or documentation from any online purchase, or in the case of mobile phones, documentation from your network provider.

The proof of ownership should show the following:

  • Date of purchase
  • Make & model
  • Serial number (IMEI number for mobile phones)
  • The memory size of your gadget (where relevant)
  • Proof that the gadget was purchased as new, or as refurbished directly from a manufacturer or network provider

To make life easier, you can easily add this information to your online account, so it's there in the event of a claim.

If a device has been stolen, we'll also need a crime reference number from your local police force. Some enable you to report a theft online.
